Charities

Stories from Africa documenting the levels of poverty, famine and corruption are so frequent that we can easily turn off and become numb to their horrific nature. When trying to choose a charity it became clear that we had all been guilty of this and, as such, had few concrete views on which we should collect for. After much research we made contact with a number of organisations. We really believe in the organisations we have decided to work with. Having seen first hand the work done by both Self-Help and St Gabriels Centre we are both inspired and confident in the value, sustainability and necessity of these wonderful organisations. Below is a more detailed look at how money raised will be used.

P.S. All money we raise will go to the charities selected; we will be paying for all our own expenses.
